Hi Folks,

We have raised the prices on the 2^nd gun to $5 in order to help pay for expenses the club incurs during the year.  It’s still a bargain and extra dollar will certainly help us out.

We had a good match in July.  The turnout was a bit light, but we had some nice scores turned in despite the heat.   Lots of AAA scope competitors. Shelley Samsom had a nice 30 in AAA Scope, tied Dale Mayer, and lost the match win by only one point. (To Fred Paxia).

We only had two shooters in the revolver challenge, so we need everyone to bring a revolver with you next match.  In fact we had three shooters in the new lever gun challenge event.

For those of you that don’t know, we added a lever gun challenge that is run just like the revolver challenge.  There is a bonus added based on your iron sight class and the net high score wins. The guns must be legal for the regular lever action classes that they would normally compete in. 

During the summer months we are going to limit each shooter to three guns max to keep the matches a little shorter.                       

OK, you all know its going to be hot at the match this week, so please bring plenty of water.

I guess that’s about it….see you on the 14^th.  We are on summer hours, so practice starts at 8:00am…match at 9:00am.
