Hi Folks,

We had a good match in October.  Our scores were down a bit due to a pretty strong wind that was blowing nearly the whole match.  It finally calmed down as we were shooting our revolver challenge entries near the end of the match.

Pete Terhaar was our scope Match Winner with a nice 27 in that wind.  Nick Papagalos was our iron sight Match Winner with a fine 26.

Bev Tyler won the revolver challenge with an adjusted score of 29!  She is going to be tough to beat.

For those of you that don’t know, we added a lever gun challenge that is run just like the revolver challenge.  There is a bonus added based on your iron sight class and the net high score wins. The guns must be legal for the regular lever action classes that they would normally compete in. 

This month we switch to winter hours. The weather should be great this Sunday.  Its finally cooled down.  In fact it might even be a little chilly. We hope to get a good turnout…last months turnout was sort of light.

 Fred Paxia had his knee replaced about 6 weeks ago, and maybe ready to come back and shoot a round or two.  Its good physical therapy!

I guess that’s about it….see you on the 13^th.  We are on winter hours, so practice starts at 9:00am…match at 10:00am.
