Hi Folks,

We had a good match in September.  We had some good scores and had a few folks bring their revolvers and lever guns for those matches as well.  Bev, we missed you last match, so remind me to give you your winnings for the revolver challenge match in August.

For those of you that don’t know, we added a lever gun challenge that is run just like the revolver challenge.  There is a bonus added based on your iron sight class and the net high score wins. The guns must be legal for the regular lever action classes that they would normally compete in. 

Dale and I had a great shoot off in the revolver challenge.  We decided ahead of time to do best of 5 on the turkey line.  If I remember correctly, Dale hit the first three, but missed the last two.  I missed the first two and was starting to sweat it a bit, but managed to hit the next three.  So we did another bang of 5.  This time Dale got two and I hit three.  A fun way to do a shootoff!

During the summer months we are going to limit each shooter to three guns max to keep the matches a little shorter.

This month is the last on summer hours for this year and the weather should be great this Sunday.  Its finally cooled down.  We hope to get a good turnout.

 Fred Paxia had his knee replaced a couple of weeks ago, but may still come out to visit.

I guess that’s about it….see you on the 9^th.  We are on summer hours, so practice starts at 8:00am…match at 9:00am.
